What the MEPCO SMART app is
MEPCO SMART is the official mobile app for MEPCO consumers, published by PITC (Power Information Technology Company) and linked from MEPCO's own website (mepco.com.pk). It puts the bill services from the web portal into an app on your phone — no separate account needed beyond your reference number.
What you can do in the app
According to MEPCO's published feature list, the app includes:
- Bill check & duplicate bill — view and download your current bill with your reference number
- Bill estimator — estimate charges from your expected units
- Pay bill — payment options within the app
- Complaints & tracking — register a complaint and follow its status, including NEPRA complaints
- Instalment requests & due-date extension — apply from the app instead of visiting an office
- New connection & tracking — apply and follow your application status
- Meter change request & tenant CNIC update
Feature list per MEPCO's official communication (app listing updated August 2026). Features can change with app updates — confirm on the Play Store listing.
App vs website: which to use
- One-time check or printing: the website (bill.pitc.com.pk/mepcobill) is faster — no install needed.
- Regular use: the app saves your reference number and can notify you when a new bill is generated.
- Complaints and requests: the app's tracking is more convenient than phone calls to 118.

Everything essential — bill check, duplicate bill, tariff information — also works on the official web portal. Our step-by-step bill check guide covers the website method, and our bill calculator estimates charges without any install.
